Communications put the call out for an Auto Fire at Berry Road and Livingston Road. Engine 241, 242 and Chief 24A responded with a total of 8 personnel. Units arrived on the scene with a fully involved auto. Units quickly extinquished the fire, and remained on scene for PGPD. The auto was confirmed stolen and units cleared at 0223 hours.

Communications put the assignment out for a House Fire in Oxon Hill. Tower 24 responded with 2 personnel (on the air for drivers training), the ambulance went along to make up staffing. Engine company 42 (oxon hill), arrived on scene with fire showing from the second floor. Shortly after the ambulance and Tower arrived on scene. The crew quickly headed inside and began opening up the fire room and other rooms on the second floor to check for any extension. Once the fire was knocked, crews performed some minor overhaul and returned to service at 1321 hours. The fire was found to be accidental in nature.

About 1100 hours, the Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department had the pleasure of giving a tour of the firehouse to Pack 267 located in Fort Washington, MD. As the tour was getting started a box was put out in Oxon Hill, a crew stayed back to help show the apparatus and pass out coloring books and helmets. The members showed the scouts how a fireman looks when in their in turnout gear and explained fire safety. Thanks to Pack 267 for stopping by hope to see the scouts again. Also a thanks to the crew who stayed back and made the visit an enjoyable ones for the scouts.

Communications put the assignment out for a house on Miles Drive in Oxon Hill. Tower 24 responded with a combination of career and volunteer members with a total of 5 personnel. Tower 24 arrived on scene and quickly went to work ventilating the residence, performing a search and throwing ladders. The Tower returned to service at 1821 hours.

Communications put out the assignment for a house on Lampton Lane in Fort Washington. Tower 24 responded with 4 personnel. Engine Company 47 arrived on scene advised they had fire through the roof. Tower 24 arrived on scene and began to throw ladders, ventilate, and performed a search. Once the fire had been extinquished the crew performed some overhaul and the Tower returned to service at 0255 hours.

Charles County dispatched the assignment for a house on fire on Matthews Road in Co. 11's area. Tower 24 responded with 4 personnel. Units from Bryans Road arrived on scene and advised fire showing. Tower 24 arrived on scene and quickly went to work ventilating, performing a search and throwing ladders to the residence. Once the fire was extinquished the Tower performed some overhaul and returned to service at 1211 hours.

Communications put the assignment for a house fire in the 17000 Blk of Livingston Road. Engine 241 responded with 4 personnel. Engine 241 arrived on scene to find a camper on fire in the woods off of Livingston Road. Engine 241 requested two brush units to help access the fire. Crews quickly went to work extending hose to reach the camper. Once the fire was extinquished, the Engine waited on the scene for investigations and cleared at 0517 hours.
