Wednesday, October 7, 2009  The Extrication Contest for the PGCVFRA convention has been postponed until Saturday Oct. 10. The contests will begin immediately after the parade (approximately 1100). Any company wishing to participate must pre-register by contacting either Chief Kathryn Fortgang or Firefighter Donnie Busl at Company 24 (301) 283-2730.

THE CONVENTION HAS BEGUN

Saturday, September 15, 2007  Saturday morning kicked off the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association's 85th Convention. The events began with the field contests. Volunteers from around the county competed in the Agility Test, 1st Alarm Dressing, Bucket Brigade, Battle of the Bucket, and the Tug-of-War. Sunday's events drew volunteers from PG, Charles and Calvert Counties. Squads and rescue engines competed in the Extrication Contest, and the Driving Rodeo. People stayed well into the evening enjoying the food and beverages. With many events still to come, the Accokeek Volunteers look forward to hosting the counties volunteers.  

 

 

 

THE RESULTS ARE IN

This time the Officers, Members and Ladies Auxiliary wish to Thank all who came out to the Softball Tournament. We also extend a BIG Thank You to the Volunteers from Baden for help putting together the Softball Tournament. The winners for the Softball Tournament are as follows 1st Place: Hillside Volunteers 2nd Place: Kentland Volunteers 3rd Place: Brandywine Volunteers Congratulations to those teams, and to all who played. See everyone September 15th.
