Saturday, September 24, 2011   The Accokeek VFD. is proud to announce that life member Ms. Darlene Grimsley, was inducted into the Prince George's County Volunteer Fireman's Hall of Fame on Thursday, September 22, 2011.  Darlene has faithfully served at Accokeek VFD for 33 Years and is still serving proudly. The Accokeek VFD could not be any more excited for you Ms. Darlene for your induction, you definitely deserve it.   Darlene Grimsley has also accomplished another GREAT milestone in Accokeek VFD. history.  In 2001, Darlene was inducted into the Prince George's County Ladies Hall of Fame, Making her the FIRST, person in Accokeek history to be Inducted in to both the ladies and the men's Hall of Fame.
