Thursday, May 13, 2010 05:00 Company 24 was alerted for an outside fire in the area of Accokeek Road West and Accolawn Road. Engine 242 and Brush 11 were checking the area and found a vacant house that was fully involved with fire. A box alarm was sounded bringing additional units to the scene. Crews worked for over 2 hours extinguishing the hot spots until turning the scene over to the fire investigators.
