Sunday, April 11, 2010 04:51 Communications dispatched the assignment to Cedar Ave, in Company 47's area. Engine 242 and Chief 24A responded with a total of four personnel. Engine company 47 arrived on the scene with a one story residence with a basement with heavy fire showing from sides C and D. Engine 242 arrived on scene and picked up 47's line and caught a hydrant, and supplied Engine company 42. Chief 24A had interior operations and the crew from the engine assisted Engine company 32. Crews encountered heavy fire in the attic, garage, and kitchen. Crews cleaned up and returned to service at 0648 hours.
